1). The decimal of the ratio has to be similar.

2). You find a set of corresponding angles and divide them to find the scale factor. After you have the scale factor you find the side that is the same as the missing side. Then you multiply the scale factor by the side and you get the missing side length.

3).The missing side lengths are 10in. They should be that becuase the scale facctor would be x2.5

1.) I decided witch figures were the same and witch figures weren't the same by figuring out what the scale factor is.



3.) If you made another figure with the equation ( 4x,4y ) then it would be similar. It would be similar becuase your multiplying the Y and X axis by the same number. The scale factor from mug to pug would be to multiply by four.

I think that blog will help us with our work in school. i think you thought is was a good idea for students to have a blog because many kids are more attracted to the Internet then a paper and pencil so more kids will pay attention to the blogs. Also blogs are very simple and fun. I definitely think that blogs will help me because i dont like to wright and i will do anything to avoid righting but i do like to type. I think the purpose of this is to help students realize that the Internet can be used to have fun and entertainment but at the same time it can be used to teach you things.
